After receiving his Bachelors degree in Science at the Univesity of Miami, Dr. Garcia completed his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch school of Medicine in Texas. He then completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Florida. This was followed by a fellowship in General Cardiology, subsequently further sub specializing in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
He is Fellowship trained and quadruple board certified in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Interventional cardiology, and nuclear cardiology.
In addition to seeing patients at his private practice, Dr. Garcia currently serves in leadership roles throughout the community, including serving as the director of interventional cardiology in Jupiter Medical Center. Although, practicing in Palm beach for a short period of time he has engaged in providing innovative cardiovascular care by being the first to implant an artificial heart pump to assist the heart pumping ability using a left ventricular assist device ( Impella) in Good Samaritan Medical Center and the first to perform a Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement ( TAVR) valve procedure for severe Aortic stenosis in Jupiter Medical Center.
Dr. Emilio L. Garcia, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I., C.B.N.C. is an active member of the fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Fellow of the society for Cardiovascular Angiography and interventions., and the American heart Association,. He has extensive publications in particular areas of pharmacology, cardiovascular prevention, and coronary artery disease minimal invasive interventions. He welcomes new patients at the CardioCare Heart & Vascular Center.
